İstanbul'un Meşhur Hattatları

istanbul'un Meşhur Hattatları kitabının iki önemli çabası var: Hat sanatının son temsilcilerini tanıtmak ve hususi belgelerin izinde hattatların çevresine bir nebze olsun ışık tutabilmek. Bu çabanın ilk hamlesi kapaktaki cemiyet fotoğrafı. Bu fotoğraf 1900'lerin ilk çeyreğinden günümüze kadar, istanbul'un hat tarihine imza atmış meşhur hattattan bir arada görme imkânı sağlıyor bizlere. Pek çoğu Hattat Sami Efendi'nin talebesi olan bu hattatlar, aynı zamanda Medresetü'l-Hattâtîn çatısı altında muallimlik yapıyorlar. Eserin sayfaları arasında yer alan belgeler ve özellikle cemiyet fotoğrafları, bu son hat ekolünün, günümüz hattatlarını da yetiştiren ana damarı oluşturduğunu gösteriyor.book "Eminent Calligraphers of istanbul" has two important efforts: to present the final representatives öf the calligraphy and to enlighten, more or less, the atmosphere surroundıng the calligraphers by studying the private documents. The fırst move of this effort is the memorial collective photo on the cover. This photo gives us the opportunity to view the eminent calligraphers, who have undersigned their names to the İstanbul calligraphy history, from the first quarter of the 1900s up to present time. Most of these calligraphers who sat a of Calligrapher Sami Efendis feet Hattat Sami Efendi, at the same time, taught under the roof of the Calligraphers' School. The documents presented in this study, and particularly the collective photos, proves us that this latest calligraphy school is the main source that trained the present time calligraphers.
